This collection gathers every distance tool on JoseFitani. At its center is the Distance Calculator, an interactive tool that measures the distance between any two places on Earth. Type a place name to search — suggestions come from the Nominatim geocoding service — or click directly on the map to set your two points. The tool computes the great-circle distance with the Haversine formula, the standard way to measure the shortest path over the surface of a sphere, and shows the result in kilometers and miles, alongside nautical miles and an estimated flight time.

Latitude and longitude are the address system of the planet, but they come in several written formats — and this collection converts between them. The Coordinate Converter takes a latitude and longitude in decimal degrees and expresses them as degrees, minutes and seconds (DMS) and as UTM zone, easting and northing. The DMS to Decimal Degrees Converter runs the reverse direction for people copying coordinates out of nautical charts, survey documents or older GPS readouts, while the Decimal Degrees to DMS Converter goes the other way. The UTM Converter works with the Universal Transverse Mercator grid system, the MGRS Converter handles Military Grid Reference System coordinates, the Plus Code Converter encodes locations as Open Location Codes, and the Coordinate Format Converter rounds out the set for switching between notations.

How high is a place? These tools answer that question for any point on Earth. The Elevation Finder and the Altitude Finder let you click anywhere on an interactive map — or search for a place by name — and return the elevation at that point in both meters and feet. Elevations come from the Open-Elevation service, and each lookup is paired with a reverse-geocoded address so you can confirm you are looking at the right spot. The readout also includes derived values such as the estimated air pressure from the International Standard Atmosphere model and the corresponding oxygen percentage, which is useful context for hiking, trekking and high-altitude travel planning.

Coordinating across time zones is a daily headache for remote teams, travelers and anyone with family abroad. This collection holds the tools that make it painless. The Time Zone Finder tells you the current time for any IANA time zone identifier you enter — from America/New_York to Asia/Kathmandu — and shows the UTC offset, including whether daylight saving time is currently in effect. The World Clock displays live clocks for multiple zones side by side, updating every second from your browser's own Intl date-time engine, so what you see always reflects the real, current rules for each zone. The Meeting Planner takes several zones and lays out the overlapping working hours, making it easy to pick a slot that does not force anyone onto a 3 a.m. call.

How big is that field, that neighborhood, that delivery zone? This collection measures areas and distances on interactive maps. The Area Calculator lets you draw a polygon by clicking points on the map and computes the enclosed area with spherical geometry — the result is shown in square kilometers, square miles, hectares and acres, along with the perimeter of your shape. The Polygon Map offers the same drawing workflow for visualizing boundaries, while the Radius Map and Circle Map draw circles of a chosen radius around a point: pick a center, set a radius in kilometers or miles, and see exactly which streets, towns or customers fall inside. The Delivery Radius Calculator applies the same idea to business use — defining a service area around a store or restaurant.

Getting somewhere is only half the question — the other half is how long it will take. This collection estimates travel and hiking times. The Travel Time Calculator takes a distance and a speed and returns the duration, and can also solve the other direction: given a time budget, how far can you go. The Flight Time Calculator estimates how long a journey between two places takes by air from the great-circle distance and a typical cruising speed, which is handy for comparing a flight against driving. The Hiking Time Calculator estimates walking and hiking durations from distance and pace, and the collection also includes walking, hiking and driving time estimators for trip planning.

Every map tool starts with the same basic question: where is this place, exactly? This collection answers it. The Latitude & Longitude Finder takes a place name and returns its coordinates — search is powered by the Nominatim geocoding service, with suggestions as you type. The Reverse Geocoder works in the opposite direction: click any point on the interactive map and it returns the coordinates in decimal degrees and degrees-minutes-seconds, plus the reverse-geocoded address for that location so you can verify what you clicked. The City Finder, County Finder and Country Finder locate administrative places by name and show them on the map with their coordinates.
